Planning + design

Material selection

Whether you want natural stone tiles to accentuate your pool area recycled bricks to add character to a courtyard, or new turf for a low maintenance backyard — we will help you choose from a well sourced selection of high quality landscaping materials to complete your design.

Softscapes + planting

Softscape elements are the trees, grass and plants in the landscape. Installing softscapes can include spreading topsoil before laying new turf, as well as building garden beds, and filling them with plants of different varieties, shapes and colours to bring depth and dimension to your design.

 

Project management

Landscaping can be messy, noisy and time consuming. We understand that this can be challenging so we aim to minimise the stress and disruption for our clients. This means taking time to prepare carefully and clean up as we go. Hardscapes are the man-made elements in your garden such as pathways, paving, patios, retaining walls, etc. Yards Apart are experienced in excavation and retaining wall construction in a range of materials. We can install your new pool surrounds or refresh and refurbish your existing paving.

Accessories — Irrigation + lighting

Beyond simply planting and construction, the consideration of accessories early in the planning stages will make the difference to the success of your project. This can range from installation of a simple irrigation system to a fully-automated one, creating a water feature or even adding accent lighting to your garden.
